Cameron Park Counseling Center proudly offers in-person therapy services, as well as online sessions. Our therapists are skilled in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Anger Management, Hypnotherapy, and Therapy for Families and Couples. We also offer adjunct therapies such as EMDR, NeuroTrainer, Meditation training and Hypnotherapy. Our offices are beautifully designed throughout, each office is unique and designed to promote a calm place to improve your life.

We also work with El Dorado County Child Protective Services – helping children and their parents.

We accept the following insurances: Anthem Blue Cross, Anthem Blue Cross Medi-Cal, Health Plan of San Joaquin (Mountain Valley), Blue Shield, HealthNet, Medicare, Optum, Western Health Advantage, United Health, AARP Medicare, Kaiser Permanente or Private Pay

 

Cameron Park Counseling Center was founded by Marie and Frank Nieto in 1979 to serve the El Dorado County Community.

Rose-Marie Nieto LCSW, Clinical Director is the founder and co-owner of Cameron Park Counseling. Her dream of establishing a multi-disciplinary team of professionals in the mental health field was achieved as a talented group of therapists was assembled. Today Cameron Park Counseling has a group of MFT, LCSW, Psychologist and interns with a broad range of specializations and expertise in the various areas of mental health. In addition, Marie speaks French to better serve the community.

 

Frank Nieto LCSW, Associate Director, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and co-owner of Cameron Park Counseling Center. Frank brings to the practice the experience that comes from a long and diverse clinical career. Frank began his career as a young Neuro-Psychiatric Specialist in the US Army where he saw service in Europe and Vietnam. From the Post Traumatic Stress Disorders of the soldiers in Vietnam to the emergency room patients at UC Davis Medical Center, Frank’s skills in assessing and treating acute and emergency situations are unparalleled. In addition, Frank speaks Spanish to better serve the community.
